Mapatizya Member of Parliament, Emeldah Munashabantu, has hailed President Hakainde Hichilema for being a visionary, God-fearing, and courageous leader.

Ms Munashabantu says the Head of State is eager to develop Zambia, adding that her Constituency is receiving a fair share of the national cake. 

She states that Mapatizya is experiencing unprecedented development in terms of infrastructure and capacity building.

“This constituency is experiencing unprecedented development under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema,” Ms Munashabantu says.

In a Press Statement released to ZANIS in Zimba, the Mapatizya law-maker said the President is doing everything possible to deliver meaningful change to the Zambian people. 

Ms Munashabantu further noted that as Member of Parliament, she will continue to effectively implement the vision of the United Party for National Development (UPND) Administration.

“I will continue to ensure that the government’s programmes and policies positively impact the lives of the people in my constituency,” Ms Munashabantu pledged.

She cited the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) as one of the programmes that is equitably distributed in key sectors of the economy.

The lawmaker also pointed out that the Cash for Work (CfW) initiative as well as Social Cash Transfer (SCT) are empowering the vulnerable people in the country.

“Empowerment programmes such as CDF, CfW and SCT have significantly improved the lives of many households as well as incomes of the people while fostering a sense of responsibility and self-reliance among beneficiaries not only here in Mapatizya but countrywide,” she said.

Ms Munashabantu emphasised that Mapatizya is developing and transforming at a fast speed and that the people are witnessing the true impact of a visionary leader.
