Minister of Justice, Princess Kasune says internalising rights, equality, plus empowerment for all women and girls is key to empowering a community.

Ms Kasune who made the remarks ahead of the women’s day commemoration tomorrow, noted that when women are empowered, the family and the nation get to be empowered.

She highlighted that the investment in girls is the best investment that can ever be accorded to girls.

The Minister, who is also the first female Minister of Justice in the history of the country, emphasized that the best inheritance that can ever be given to girls is to empower them with education.

“This is the best empowerment that can be given and the best inheritance we can ever give, and that’s education,” she said.
