ZANIS Radio Producer honoured for 36 years of unbroken service

Ministry of Information and Media Acting Permanent Secretary Bernard Domingo has paid glowing tribute to retired ZANIS Senior Radio Producer Nosiku Muyawa for her contribution to the journalism fraternity.

Speaking at a farewell send off, Mr Domingo said Mrs Muyawa deserved to be celebrated for her dedication and commitment to duty.

Mr Domingo said Mrs Muyawa rendered 36 years of unbroken service to the government and the country.

Mr Domingo described Mrs Muyawa’s illustrious 36 years career as remarkable and outstanding.

He pointed out that Mrs Muyawa throughout her career demonstrated resilience and high levels of professionalism.

“In her thirty-six years of unbroken service to the public service and nation at large, She exhibited professionalism and promoted team work.

Mr Domingo has since wished Mrs Muyawa a fulfilled retirement.

And speaking earlier, ZANIS Director Loyce Saili praised Mrs Muyawa for her dedication and commitment to duty.

Mrs Saili described Mrs Muyawa as a hard-working person who always aimed for the best and that she took every assignment seriously.

Meanwhile Mrs Muyawa thanked ZANIS and the Ministry of Information and Media for according her a befitting farewell sendoff.

Mrs Muyawa said she was humbled by the gesture demonstrated by ZANIS to honour her with a befitting farewell.

“Thank you for what you have done for me ZANIS and the Ministry of Information and Media.”
