FRANCE ACKNOWLEDGES ZAMBIA’S POTENTIAL

France Ambassador to Zambia Thomas Rossignol says Zambia offers great opportunities for investments and partnership because of its stability, safety and potential for growth.

Speaking when he called on Deputy Permanent Secretary Daniel Kamenga at his office, Mr Rossignol highlighted that sectors such as agriculture, tourism and manufacturing offer great opportunities for the two countries to collaborate

Ambassador Rossignol is on the Copperbelt to check on various projects particularly the Mulonga water Project which is being worked on to improve supply of clean and safe water to residents in Chilabombwe , Chingola and surrounding areas.

And Deputy Permanent Secretary Daniel Kamenga said the partnership between Zambia and the French government has been instrumental in driving economic growth and development in Zambia. 

He said the support from France has been invaluable, particularly in sectors like energy, agriculture, and infrastructure. 

He cited the low transmission line, Mulonga modernization water project, and road infrastructure development,as some of the collaborations that  have impacted the lives of Zambians.
