Zesco United/ Power Dynamos in a clash of the titans this weekend

As the FAZ MTN Super League resumes this weekend after the international break, the clash between Zesco United and Power Dynamos Football clubs will undoubtedly be the pick of the ties.

All  is set for what will potentially be an explosive encounter between first placed Power Dynamos and second placed ZESCO United on Saturday.

ZANIS sports reports that the clash promises to be an intriguing encounter at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium with a slot at the summit of the table up for grabs.

The Copperbelt giants are level on 22 points, even though Power Dynamos are top of the table owing to a superior goal difference.

The Kitwe outfit head into the fixture as the in-form team in comparison to Zesco United, who will be hoping to make home ground advantage count.

Power alias  ” Power 90″ have won five out of their six most recent matches while ZESCO have only managed two wins in the same number of games although form may not always count in derbies and top of the table encounters.

Zambia Police sponsored side Nkwazi  F.C host  their town rivals ZANACO F.C  at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka while Green Eagles F.C will be banking on home ground advantage in Choma when they meet struggling Indeni F.C.

The Ndola based side  earlier this week sent coach Tenant Chembo on administrative leave following a string of poor results.

Defending champions Red Arrows F.C will be visiting relegation-threatened Nchanga Rangers F.C as Napsa  Stars FC  will be locked in a Lusaka derby against Zambia Army outfit Green Buffalos at Woodlands Stadium.

Kabwe Warriors will be travelling to North Western Province to meet Lumwana Radiants who will be looking to start a resurgence that will see the side make its way out of relegation.

On Sunday 13-time league champions Nkana will welcome Forest Rangers to Nkana Stadium in what promises to be a mouthwatering encounter.

New kids on the block Atletico Lusaka will face mighty Mufulira Wanderers at Nholoma Stadium, while Mutondo Stars will host FC MUZA at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
