Senior Chief Kambombo the 19th, of the Senga people of Chama District, Eastern Province has died.
Chama District Commissioner, Yobe Goma, has confirmed the development to Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) in an interview.
Mr Goma says the chief passed on in the early hours of Monday, February 17, 2025 after an illness.
He has indicated that the burial preparations for late senior chief who will be put to rest on Monday, February 24, 2025 are underway.
