Kitwe District Commissioner Lawrence Mwanza has handed over K2 million Kwacha to youths and women entrepreneurs in Chimwemwe Constituency,

Mr. Mwanza has urged the beneficiaries to prudently use the money and ensure that they payback the loans so that others can also benefit.

He has since challenged the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) beneficiaries to start giving testimonies of success stories of their businesses after receiving funds.

Mr. Mwanza noted that a lot of CDF has been disbursed in the district yet not so many success stories have been reported.

He said this in a speech read on his behalf by Kitwe District Administrative Officer Mwamba Mulenga during the handover of the funds .

And Kitwe Town Clerk Patrick Kambita urged the beneficiaries to boost their businesses and create jobs for others.

Mr. Kambita also disclosed that some CDF loan money beneficiaries have already commenced paying back the loans, a development he said was gratifying.
