The Luwingu Town Council has disclosed that 16 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) projects are set to be commissioned in Lubansenshi Constituency in Northern Province.

Council Secretary, Benson Malama says Northern Province Permanent Secretary Bernard Mpundu is expected to officiate at the event.

Mr. Malama said all 16 projects, which include health posts, classroom blocks, and a mechanised water reticulation system, will be presented to the community in Luwingu district next week.

 “I wish to inform you that Luwingu Town Council will be commissioning 16 projects constructed under the 2022 and 2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The infrastructure is due for commissioning on Monday, June 3rd and 4th June 2024,” he said. 

Mr Malama said the programme to commission CDF projects will commence on Monday with the mechanised water reticulation system at the Zambia Police Station in Chief Chipalo area.
