PRISON LEOPARDS QUEENS FOOTBALL CLUB UNVEILS NEW KIT

The Zambia Correctional Service Director of Sports and Cultural Affairs, Assistant Commissioner Divino Kifita has unveiled a new kit for the Prison Leopards Queens Football Club.

Speaking during the handover of the sports equipment that included Jerseys and Match balls, Mr. Kifita said the new kit will help to motivate the club.

He said the gesture was aimed at ensuring that the team was equipped and motivated to represent the service in sports.

“We shall ensure that all sports disciplines are well dressed as they represent the service. We have been on course in terms of the welfare for our sports men and women and we shall continue on this trajectory to ensure that we motivate all sportsmen and women,” he said.

Earlier, Zambia Correctional Service Sports Coordinator, Chief Inspector Matongo Mwandabai noted that the handover demonstrated the directorate’s commitment to caring for the sports personnel.

“This activity highlights the importance of investing in sports equipment to motivate and support our men and women in sports,” he said.

Meanwhile, Prison Leopards queens Team Captain Tita Daka paid tribute to the directorate for its continued support to the women’s team.

She said the sports equipment has motivated the players who are excited for the future opportunities as they fight to earn promotion into the FAZ super league

“We are grateful for the continued support we have been receiving and as a whole we are excited, we make a refreshed commitment that we shall win the remaining games to ensure we are elevated into the super league,” she said.

The sports equipment handed over to the women’s team include 10 match balls, 16 Jerseys, 15 boots, 16 stockings, and 20 shin guards.
