Mansa General Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Mackford Chipili has announced a significant improvement in the supply chain of medicines and medical supplies at the largest referral hospital in the province.
Dr. Chipili says the development underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to delivering quality healthcare services to the people of Luapula Province.
He added that the hospital has recorded remarkable progress in the procurement and delivery of essential medicines and medical supplies.
Dr. Chipili further highlighted that the hospital received a substantial consignment of medical supplies which included high-cost drugs that were previously challenging to procure due to budget constraints.
He explained that the improvement in the supply chain is a result of the government’s strategic interventions, including increased funding and enhanced collaboration with ZAMMSA.
Dr. Chipili added that the hospital has supplemented its resources through grants, ensuring that it remains well-equipped to meet the healthcare needs of the province.
He has since stated to remain committed to sustaining the progress and ensure that the people of Luapula Province continue to receive the best possible healthcare services.
