Zambia netball team defeat Kenya at the ongoing World cup qualifiers 

Zambia Netball team  yesterday beat Kenya by 52 goals  to 32 to register their second win at the ongoing Under 21 World Cup qualifiers in South Africa.

The team have kept their high hopes of making it to the global showcase next year.

Zambia opened their qualifiers campaign on a low note after being overpowered by Zimbabwe by 42- 37 before defeating Tanzania in their second encounter to revive their hopes of qualifying to the World Cup.

Speaking in a post-match interview Netball Coach Moses Ndlovu said the girls will continue to fight until they qualify to the world’s highest netball stage, adding that right tactics in the game against Malawi.

And player of the match Joy Nalwamba expressed delight with the results and is optimistic of a much better result in the next game.

 Seven African countries are competing for a spot at the Netball World Cup 2025 in Gibraltar and Zambia is aiming to fight for a place.
