Kazonga Motorcycle Chief Executive Officer Evans Ng’oma has embarked on an initiative of selling motorcycles to teachers across the country.

Mr Kazonga said the initiative is aimed at easing the mobility of teachers across the country who have been facing transport challenges.

Mr. Ng’oma said the new transport initiative is aimed at targeting teachers in both rural and urban areas.

He was speaking during a memorandum of understanding between National Union of Public and Private Educators of Zambia (NUPEZ) and Kazonga Motorbikes Limited.

Mr. Ng’oma noted that the motorbikes will be sold to teachers to ensure that their movements are eased.

National Union of Public and Private Educators of Zambia (NUPEZ) Executive Director Victor Muyumba said the availability of the motorcycles will improve teacher efficiency in the rural areas.

Mr. Muyembe noted that the teachers in both rural and urban areas face transport challenges hence the initiative will make the work of the teachers much easier.
