Government has urged students to safeguard their schools in order to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka today, Minister of Education Douglas Siakalima encouraged the learners to avoid those who encourage disruptive behavior.
ZANIS reports Mr Siakalima said that he is aware that there are some individuals instigating students to incite violence.
He noted that buses were reportedly deployed to transport students as part of plans to incite violence.
He stressed that such actions will not be tolerated, warning that those involved in orchestrating or participating in such activities will face strict consequences from the law.
The Minister also urged law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to prevent young individuals from being exploited for disruptive activities.
