The highly anticipated elective Football Association of Zambia’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) slated for March 29, 2025, will be held at Fairmount Hotel in Livingstone.

According to a statement issued to ZANIS by FAZ Communications Manager Sydney Mungala, the decision to host the AGM in Livingstone follows a resolution by the Executive Committee today (Monday).

FAZ General Secretary Reuben Kamanga says the decision had been made in line with article 27 of the constitution.

“The FAZ executive committee has settled for Livingstone as the venue for the March 29 AGM. We are pleased to announce that the date and venue for the elective AGM has been confirmed by the Executive Committee at its sitting today,” Kamanga says.

“We have kept to our tradition of transparently communicating with our members at every stage as regards the elections roadmap. The ball is now in the candidates’ hands as they prepare for the elective congress.” he added.

Kamanga says FAZ has already sent out the notice to the membership with all the relevant documents as per constitutional requirement.

Livingstone will be hosting the FAZ AGM for the second time after the 2020 edition was hosted at Fairmount Hotel.
