The Young Christian Education Club of Zambia (YCECZ) in North-Western

says the national day of prayers is an important day for the country to thank God for his many blessings.

In an interview with ZANIS, Rev. Lumayi said  although the country is faced with numerous social-economic challenges due to the prolonged drought, this country has remained blessed in other areas adding that unlike other countries Zambia has remained a beacon of peace since time in memorial.

” We are all affected and we should all work together to find ways of finding solutions to our problems, ” he noted

The Clergyman stressed the need for Zambians to uphold christian values by  always putting God first in every situation.

He has also urged Zambians  to uphold peace and unity and stressed that this will foster further development.

” As Zambians we are known for being peaceful people and we should not take that for granted,  let us protect it,” he said.
