Agriculture Expert Oliver Bulaya has urged the government to establish favourable policies and regulations that will help attract investment in the agricultural sector.

Dr. Bulaya said the government should formulate sustainable policies that are essential to grow the agriculture industry and address Zambia’s climate change.

He explained that providing alternative measures to address the various challenges hindering development in the agricultural sectors will help boost the confidence of potential investors.

“The government should improve road networks and communication channels in various farming areas, as a way of attracting investment,” Dr. Bulaya said.

He further emphasized the need for the government to start exporting finished agricultural products at both local and international markets.
