Shangombo District has received several classroom blocks and dormitories through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
District Commissioner, Mubita Siyamana, has hailed the government for its commitment towards bettering the lives of people in the district.
Mr Siyamana added that the increment of the CDF from K28.3 Million to K30.6 Million is a perfect example of government’s commitment.
He said this during the handover ceremony of the infrastructure that was also witnessed by the council secretary, council chairperson and the area Member of Parliament.
“We are seeing a number of projects in the district due to the increment of CDF at K30.6 Million, this shows how much the President is concerned about the people,” Mr Siyamana said.

“I want to urge you to stop renting houses in the compound because government has provided free boarding. Please discipline yourself if you want to be better in society,” Mr Mubika said
District Education Board Secretary, Joy Hakabwandi said government’s efforts to better the lives of pupils will be in vain if the pupils do not rise to the occasion and do their part.
