Luapula Province Education Officer (PEO) Grace Sinkolongo has cautioned teachers against engaging in examination malpractices as pupils start sitting for their final exams.
Ms Sinkolongo says teachers who will be found indulging in any form of examination malpractices risk being dismissed from the service.
The PEO says enough warnings have been issued to all the teachers involved in administering the examinations adding that any culprit will not therefore be treated kindly.
ZANIS reports that Ms Sinkolongo further said the District Education Board Secretaries (DEBS) and her office have also conducted series of meetings with the teachers to remind them about the code of ethics, the Teaching Professional Act and other laws that do not allow them to engage in the examination malpractices.
