Chipolopolo Midfielder Emmanuel Banda opened his goal scoring account for Saudi club Al Tai on Monday by striking a brace.
Banda’s double helped edge ten man Al Jandal to a 3-2 win in a Saudi Arabia Division One League match.
The midfielder restored parity for Al Tai in 34th minute cancelling Abdullah Matuq’s goal which had put Jandal in the lead on the sixth minute mark.
The former Nchanga Rangers then scored the winner in the 67th minute to secure all three points for Al Tai.
Banda’s teammate Malian international Ibrahima Tandia scored the other goal for Al Tai while Muaid Moaafa scored the other goal for ten man Jandal.
The win takes Al Tai to 4th place on the log with 14 points after 8 matches. Neom FC lead the log with 22 points.
The brace marked Banda’s first goals since he joined Al Tai in September from Croatian side HNK Rijeka.
