The ongoing Grade 12 examinations in Kasenengwa district of Eastern Province are reportedly progressing well.

Grade 12 candidates started writing their final examinations yesterday, November 4, 2024.

District Education Board Secretary, Mathias Chuunga told ZANIS that there has been no incident of malpractice so far.

“Grade 12s started writing their examinations yesterday with English language being their first paper. So far, the exams are going on well,” he said.

Mr Chuunga further urged Grade 12 candidates to ensure they remain focused and shun from engaging themselves in any form of malpractice.

“I want to urge our Grade 12s to stay focused and take these examinations seriously because they will help in their future”, he said.

He also acknowledged that his office was not facing any major challenge, as there was adequate support from other stakeholders.

“We haven’t had any major challenges yet because we are working hand in hand with the police and the office of the President”, he said.
