Visiting Tanzanian Deputy Solicitor General Alice Mtulo says Tanzania wishes to learn and share best practices on the management of the judicial system in Zambia.
Ms. Mtulo says the Tanzanian Solicitor General’s Office will benefit from Zambia’s experience in case management and international dispute management, which her country is facing challenges with.
ZANIS reports that speaking when she paid a courtesy call on Solicitor General Marshall Muchende in Lusaka today, Ms. Mtulo said the visit is a platform for solidifying the good bilateral relations that the two countries have enjoyed for many years.
And Solicitor General Marshall Muchende in welcoming the Tanzanian delegation assured the team that the visit will give them insight into Zambia’s judicial authority, including its litigation practice and case management.
Mr. Muchende added that the visit to Zambia will enable the team to also appreciate what makes the country’s judiciary, effective, responsive and independent.
He highlighted that the country is delighted that Tanzania has chosen Zambia as a case study, in their quest to improve their judicial system and advised that the Zambian team will ensure that the visitors have engagements with the offices of the Attorney General and Speaker of the National Assembly, to enhance their learning journey.
