THE Zambia under-20 Women’s National Team has won the 2024 COSAFA U20 Women’s Championship with a 100 percent record.

The Young Copper Queens finished their campaign after defeating Mozambique 1-0, at UJ Stadium in Johannesburg.

ZANIS Sports reports that a goal from Blessings Zulu was enough to see the young copper queens crowned as champions.

Zambia started the tournament humiliating Lesotho with a 9-0 win, then beat South Africa 3-0 before thrashing Botswana 6-0.

Zambia scored a total of 19 goals without conceding a single goal.
