MBALA UCZ’S SUNDAY SCHOOL DONATES TO CHILA DEAF UNIT SCHOOL

The Sunday school children from the United Church of Zambia (UCZ) in Mbala have donated assorted food staff and soap to Chila Deaf Unit School worth over K2, 500.

Mbala UCZ Main Church Sunday School Teacher Coordinator, Victoria Tembo, says the donation is part of children’s community service during their week.

Ms. Tembo told ZANIS that the Sunday school children in the area have shown that oneness is important in the eyes of God.

She explained that the group conducted a week of prayers and also cleaned at church.

And Chila Deaf Unit School Head teacher, Margret Mumba, commended the UCZ Sunday school children in the area for the gesture.

Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries from Chila deaf unit school, Sarah Nakampudwa, has also thanked the group for demonstrating an inclusion for all that aims to enhance the desire for oneness.

Nakampudwa says the donation by the children has proved the inclusion for Chila deaf unit school.

Mbala Sunday School children were celebrating a week of community service under the theme “Dwelling in unity by leaving no one behind” quote from Matthew 19:13-14.
