PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has concluded his two days working visit to Kazungula District in Southern Province.
The President left the district after gracing the Chuundu Lwindi Traditional ceremony of Senior chief Sekute.
President Hichilema has since returned to Lusaka through the Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International airport in Livingstone at about 16:20hrs and was seen off by members of the Provincial Joint operations Committee (PJOC) and other senior government officials.
Before his departure the President briefly interacted with scores of United Party for National Development (UPND) supporters who braved the rains and gathered at the airport to see him off.
During this working visit President Hichilema was accompanied by Minister of Defense and Security Ambrose Lufuma, Minister of information and Media Cornelius Mweetwa, Minister of labour and Social Security Brenda TambaTamba.
Others were Tourism Minister Ronald Sikumba and host Provincial Minister Credo Nanjuwa including other Senior Government officials.
The visit of the President left the people of Kazungula with resounding hope of a bright future with a lot of development prospects.
