NDOLA BASED AUTHOR CALLS ON ZAMBIANS TO FIGHT CORRUPTION

A Ndola based Author has called on Zambians to work together and fight corruption to achieve President Hakainde Hichilema’s vision of developing the country.

Lanjesi Chilimba, who recently published a Book titled ‘Hichilema’s Vision for Zambia’, has advised people to desist from corrupt practices to help the country grow.

Mr Chilimba revealed that his book has a number of topics that outlines the President’s vision of bettering the country.

He noted that since the United Party for National Development (UPND) was ushered into office, he has seen great achievements such as the employment of teachers and introduction of free education, which he said is helping the young people regardless of financial ability to acquire knowledge.

Mr Chilimba, however, noted that some achievements are not being interpreted to the people especially in rural areas and called on the government departments to ensure that they communicate the achievements of the government in various local languages.

He said if the language is localised, it will allow the people in communities to understand what the government is trying to communicate.
