UPND IN MWANDI DISTRICT CLEAN PALACE, HOSPITAL AND POLICE POST

The United Party for National Development (UPND) in Mwandi District has gifted community members with humanitarian work to celebrate this year’s festive season.

UPND Mwandi Ward Chairperson, Morgan Mutakela says the party’s decision to clean the Kuta Mwandi Royal Village Palace, the hospital and the police station is the only way they could give back to the community.

ZANIS reports that Mr Mutakela added that the party has also been busy with mobilisation activities despite financial restraints.

He has further appealed to the Western provincial party structure to render financial support to the ward to enhance their performance capacity.

Meanwhile, Mwandi Mission Hospital Medical Officer, Freddy Mukoka has expressed gratitude for the efforts of the party to keep the hospital surroundings clean.

Dr Mukoka has also thanked the church and other well-meaning organisations and institutions that have supported the hospital during this festive season.
