K3.5 MILLION SET ASIDE FOR PAVING OF ROADS IN SOLWEZI

Solwezi Municipal Council in Northwestern Province has set aside K3.5 million for the paved Solwezi program for 2025.

Council Town Clerk Stanley Mbewe told ZANIS in an exclusive interview that this is in an effort to suppress the dust and the mud in the central business district.

Mr Mbewe said  the paving is starting with Mitec Market where there is a newly constructed Market Shelter.

He said the Council is determined to make more improved trading spaces and environment in the district

Mr Mbewe has since appreciated the people at Mitec Market who were removed from the undesignated trading places in order to allow the paving works to take off.
