UCZ MEMBERS ADVISED TO EMBRACE EACH OTHER


The United Church of Zambia  in Mbala District in  Northern Province has urged its members to embrace each other.

United Church of Zambia Northern  Presbytery Secretary, George Manda says it is important that members embrace each other saying doing so will enhance love, peace, and unity in  the church.

ZANIS reports that speaking during the Diamond Jubilee anniversary in Mbala today Reverend Manda has since urged all Christians to put their interests behind and work together in order to preserve love, peace, and unity that the country has enjoyed since independence.

Reverend Manda says the United Church of Zambia will continue to supplement government efforts in the education and health sectors.

The Northern Presbytery Secretary has cited Mbereshi School of Nursing and Senga Hill Secondary School as some of the schools managed by the church that are supplementing the government in the provision of education to the people.

He has emphasized the need for church members to work together in love, peace and unity, if they are to foster church growth

And United Church of Zambia Mbala Main Congregation Secretary, Wigan Chola revealed that the church has over the years continued to grow in its Membership.

The United Church of Zambia is celebrating 60 years of its existence under the theme, “Changing the Wawa à narrative”.
