DEBS CHALLENGE TEACHERS TO BE NEW CURRICULUM AMBASSADORS

MWANDI District Education Board Secretary (DEBS) Bwalya Chishimba has requested teachers in the district to be good ambassadors of the new education curriculum.

Speaking during a three-day orientation workshop of teachers on the new curriculum held in the district recently, Mr Chishimba said teachers need to support the implementation   of the new curriculum through sensitization and hard work.

He also said teachers in the district who are drunkards need to stop excessive beer drinking and start putting their energies on teaching the learners the new curriculum.

“We Do not want to come to your schools and find some of you drunk, including the head teacher. You must change and become good Christians,” advised the DEBS.

Meanwhile, the Head Teacher at Dreams Come True Private School Nsonga Masiye thanked the DEBS’s office for inviting them to the orientation workshop.
