Councilor for Chichele Ward of Bwana Mkubwa Constituency in Ndola District on the Copperbelt Province, Edgar Misenso, has hailed government for the development that has taken place in his ward through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Mr Misenso, who is an independent Councilor, says his ward now has a Clinic, Mwenye Police Post and Solar Powered Boreholes at the once neglected Hope and Chichele Community.
He said this when he appeared on Your Conversation programme on ZANIS Channel in Ndola.
Mr Misenso added that his Ward also has other projects under CDF such as the Pama Bridge in Roma, Twapia Mwenye Bridge which had been dilapidated for eight years and a 1×3 Classroom block at Mabungula School.
Speaking on the same Programme, Itawa Ward Councilor, also under Bwana Mkubwa Constituency, Katongo Kampamba, said CDF has transformed the lives of people in his ward.
Mr Kampamba said through the loans, grants and skills components, people in his Ward are empowered with funds and skills that enable them to venture into income generating activities to improve their livelihoods.
