The total aggregate value of these handovers amounts to an impressive K40 million while other procurements and constructions are already underway,” noted Ms Mpasela.

Meanwhile, Dundumwezi Member of Parliament Edgar Sing’ombe challenged local leaders to interpret the vision of President Hakainde Hichilema of sharing the national cake equitably to all the corners of the country.

“I urge you to interpret the vision of the President to develop all corners of this country across various sectors. I know there are places we have not touched but we are coming there, it is just a matter of time, nothing is done at once,” said the MP.

And Chief Chikanta has commended Ward Development Committees in the constituency for coming up with the initiative of purchasing earth moving equipment saying the area needs a good road -network owing to its agro productivity status.
