BuyZed Campaign founder Evans Ng’oma has welcomed President Hakainde Hichilema’s call to promote locally produced goods. 

Mr. Ng’oma says the call is in line with the Buyzed’s vision of promoting local products to enhance productivity in the country.

“We share his passion about having our local products on the shelves of our major supermarkets, as we believe that this is the only sure way to real economic growth”, he said. 

He noted that consuming locally produced merchandise will enable farmers to produce what is on demand, hence increasing productivity.

Mr Ng’oma has since urged Zambians to support the presidential call and collaborate with Buyzed campaign team in promoting local production.

“We also throw this challenge to every patriotic citizen of our great nation, to heed the President’s call to join the Buy Zambia campaign”, he said. 

Mr Ng’oma also applauded the Government on the ambitious project to build a dual carriageway between Lusaka and Ndola.

He noted that the dual carriage way will not only be a passage of vehicles but one of the main arteries of the economy that will in turn see recovery and growth. 

Mr Ng’oma noted that once the road is completed it will enhance traffic flow that has been a challenge for many years.

He also noted that four lanes will not only ease congestion but prevent accidents.
